Rules
If Donald Trump sitting for a deposition in his defamation lawsuit against the BBC is confirmed by any of the Source Agencies after Issuance and before Jan 1, 2027, then the market resolves to Yes.

This must be confirmed, verified, or established as factual by at least one Source Agency.

News confirmation is defined as a published article, broadcast segment, or official news report by a Source Agency, that A) explicitly states Donald Trump sitting for a deposition in his defamation lawsuit against the BBC occurred, is true, or has been verified, B) based on journalistic investigation, sources, or evidence, and C) presented as factual reporting rather than speculation, rumor, or unverified allegation.

Sitting for a deposition means Donald Trump personally appeared and gave sworn oral testimony, in person or by remote video, at a deposition taken in the defamation action he filed against the British Broadcasting Corporation in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. A deposition that begins and is then adjourned, suspended, or continued qualifies once he has been sworn and has answered questions.

The following do NOT count:
A deposition that is noticed, scheduled, agreed to, or ordered by the court but not actually held
Affidavits, declarations, sworn written statements, or answers to written interrogatories
Testimony at a hearing, at trial, or before Congress
A deposition taken in any other case or proceeding
A deposition of any person other than Donald Trump
