What Profet is

Profet is a play-money prediction market. Every account starts with virtual credits, and every market on the platform is settled in those same credits. Credits have no real-world monetary value, cannot be purchased, cashed out, transferred for real money, or redeemed for anything of value. Profet is not a real-money gambling or betting platform, and nothing on it should be treated as financial advice or a real financial product.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You're responsible for keeping your password secure, and for anything that happens under your account.
• One account per person -- creating multiple accounts to manipulate a market's price or the leaderboard is not allowed.

Acceptable use

• Don't try to manipulate market prices or the leaderboard through fake accounts, collusion, or exploiting bugs.
• Don't harass other users in comments, chat, or community features.
• Don't attempt to disrupt the service (scraping at abusive rates, attempting to breach accounts, etc.).
• Market resolution is handled per the rules stated on each market; official-source markets follow that source's own outcome. Staff can resolve disputes -- see each market's own appeal window.

No warranty

Profet is provided "as is." Markets, prices, and resolutions are provided for entertainment and skill-building purposes -- we don't guarantee accuracy, uptime, or that any given market resolves the way you expect.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the platform changes. Continuing to use Profet after a change means you accept the updated terms.
